Action

Equipped with the knowledge and understanding about digital emissions, we share learnings, highlight innovations and catalyse action through our working groups and industry engagement.

End-user Devices Working Group

With end-user devices (those devices in people’s homes used for accessing and viewing digital content) being identified as a key hot spot in our assessments, we have set up a group to explore how DIMPACT companies can support their decarbonisation.

The group focusses on building a collective understanding of the behaviour of these devices from an energy and sustainability perspective, exploring and amplifying potential solutions to reduce the emissions of these devices, and engaging with the device manufacturing sector to align industry efforts to decarbonise.

Advertising Working Group

With many DIMPACT participants being media owners – where digital advertising is served – we have set up a working group to share learnings on how companies can leverage their DIMPACT assessments to provide credible, standardised insights to their advertising partners, and work with the wider industry to decarbonise.

Publisher’s Working Group

We convene our digital publisher participants to discuss the specific challenges and opportunities facing publishing – such as what the transition from print to digital means for environmental impacts, to specific methodological challenges, to levers for decarbonisation.

DIMPACT Quarterly Meetings

DIMPACT quarterly meetings bring all DIMPACT companies together as a forum to share learnings and insights, understand the trends when it comes to digital emissions, and ultimately catalyse action on digital emissions.
